WOS23_Rugby area

 

In 2022 the Alex hosted 14 Warwickshire Open Studios artists and makers as its inagural event. You can get an idea of what it was like (the energy and cameraderie) from Jessica Hartshorn's Instagram reel. 

In 2023 we will have TWENTY artists in residence over two long weekend. Three other local WOS-related artists who will have cabinet work on show. Demonstrations, sales, cafe, evening entertainments. See  our WOS venue page here - it has links to all 20 artist profiles.

Remember that there are over 40 artists in this area (Rugby and Dunchurch having large numbers in one spot but Eric Gaskell (Cawston) and IJE (Bilton) are not far and also open their studios this year). Hannah Kempe's work can be seen at Nev's Kitchen (Regents Street, near to the Alex in addition to at the Alex).
