Would you like to see a locally, lovingly-made, feature film which is attracting awards and great reviews? Ten performances in our 'micro-cinema' offer a quirky environment at #Artatthealex to view a special film. Rudy is a gentle 'coming of age' movie with themes that most families can relate to. The characters range from young to old and the themes are timeless. The scenery is local (Coventry, Warwickshire and a touch of Rugby town.)
Filmmaker Shona Auerbach received a BAFTA nomination for her previous film and hopes that Rudy will also be considered for a BAFTA. Its been a work with a long gestation, made with a great deal of love and hard work.
Come and see the film in the Old Brewery at the Alex, and stay a while for Q&A with the director herself afterwards in the cafe gallery. A special film in so many ways and with capacity of 10 per performance this is a very special event. (£3 per ticket from the Alex or £3 + booking fees from Eventbrite).
Did I mention that its won lots of awards already? And great music too.
