During November we have an art exhibitions across all three of the small gallery spaces at the Alex - showcasing five local artists: John Thompson (photography), Eleanor Newey (Watercolour), Huyen (Sue) Phan (Acrylic paintings), Irene Belcher (dyed fabric and machine embroidery) and Glynis Hayward-Bradley (mixed media). Really interesting mix by talented artists.
Irene is a new artist to the Alex, she has formerly exhibited at Braunston (where she lives) as part of Warwickshire Open Studios this year. Eleanor is a student at Rugby High School and won her place in this exhibition as an 'Alex prize' while exhibiting as a junior in last year's The Rugby Town exhibition.
